8th Grade Promotion

Event

Who: All eligible 8th graders

What: Students will “walk across the stage” and be acknowledged for their hard work!

Where: Land Park Amphitheater

What to Wear: Students are encouraged to wear semi formal attire. Keep in mind this is a school event. Students will be walking on uneven grass and stone steps, so consider appropriate walking shoes.

GUIDELINES: Students should be dropped off directly at the park no later than 8:15am and go directly to the staging area to line up with their 4th period classes. Family members should be seated in the designated areas. Family seating in the amphitheater is limited and is first come, first served.* We encourage families to pack lawn chairs for those who are willing to sit on the sides of the amphitheater behind . Air horns are not permitted. Masks are strongly recommended. The ceremony should conclude by 10:30am, at which time students will be dismissed for the day.   

*Some aisle seats will be reserved for Soiree In The City auction winners!
